Interior and Exterior Placard and Decal Inspection All required interior placards and limitation markings are listed in “Limitations” of the POH and the F AA-appr o v ed Ai r c r aft Flight Manual (AFM) . The model designation placard is on the e xte r nal fuselage (left side), bel o w the v e r tical stabilize r . The placard identifies the aircraft b y its model and serial number (SN). A n y time an aircraft is repainted or touched up, inspect all placards to ensure th e y are not c o v ered with paint, are l e gi b le, and are secure l y attached.
