LEVELING (C90A/B/GT)
- The aircraft may be leveled by inflating or deflating the main or nose gear struts.
- To level the aircraft laterally, use a bubble level across the two inboard seat tracks and deflate the tire or strut on the high side of the aircraft until the bubble centers.
- To level the aircraft longitudinally, attach a cord and plumb bob to the upper Phillips-head screw, located at W.L. 122.0, just forward of the cabin door.
- Inflate or deflate the nose gear shock strut as required to pass the cord over the center line of a second Phillips-head screw directly below at W.L 91. at the bottom of the door.
- Suspending the plumb bob in a container filled with light engine oil dampens its movement.
LEVELING (C90GTI)
- Perform the JACKING procedure.
- Place the spirit levels at the forward end of the seat tracks.
- Then place a spirit level on the RH outboard seat track.
- Adjust the nose jack until the aircraft is level in pitch.
- Then place a spirit level across the inboard seat tracks and adjust the rear spar jacks until the air- craft is level in roll. Verify the aircraft is level in pitch and roll before performing the required maintenance procedure(s).
- Once complete remove the aircraft from the jacks.
